Stephen Scott
I've spent 30 years building software that empowers people.
In 1996, when most businesses didn't have domain names, I started a domain name registration company. We helped people register over 12,800 domain names before being acquired in 2000.
That was the beginning of a career shaped by a simple question: How do technology and human connection intersect?
Over three decades, that question has led me through multiple technology startups. Along the way, I've written several books—translated into 6 languages—about AI technology, sales, leadership, and building teams.
Current Work
These days, I'm focused on two projects:
PreIntake.ai
A pre-qualification system for law firms. Attorneys spend too much time on initial consultations that go nowhere. PreIntake uses AI to screen potential clients before the first call, so lawyers can focus on cases they can actually help with.
Visit PreIntake.aiTeam Build Pro
An AI-powered tool for direct sales professionals. It addresses a persistent problem in the industry: 75% of new recruits quit in their first year, usually because they start with no momentum. This app lets people build their network before they officially join.

Looking back, there's a thread connecting everything I've built: helping people navigate the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Whether it's a small business owner in 1997 trying to figure out this "internet thing," a sales team learning to work with enterprise clients, or an attorney trying to find clients they can genuinely help—the challenge is always about connection.
Technology, at its best, makes that connection easier.
About the Books
I've written about what I've learned. 14 books on sales strategy, team building, and leadership—some practical guides, others more reflective. They've been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, and French.
